I grew up on the rough streets of Marblehead, Massachusetts, but left to get schooled in upstate New York. Near Canada not Albany. After, I immediately moved from the snowbelt to Cambridge, Massachusetts. But I had to shovel there, so I moved to California. In San Francisco I worked at OgilvyOne for a year, until I realized funny office e-mails do not a portfolio make. But I helped out on an important St. Patty’s Day party flyer.
Fresh off that hot execution, I enlisted at Miami Ad School. A huge perk of which was scoring an internship at R/GA, which was a winning combination of real briefs, cool people and Nike. Next came an education in pizza and pigskin when I freelanced at the great Engine Company 1 on California Pizza Kitchen, the 49ers, Rubio’s, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. And although I thought I’d scratched winter off my list, when Digitas in Boston asked, I accepted.
I also really enjoy but shouldn’t admit, bowling, watching Apple previews for days at a time, catsup, and busting the funky chicken.
